Jerry Stubblefield founded AVIA in 1979 and began manufacturing a unique insole which he named, The Cantilever Sole. The footwear was being sold and marketed towards running enthusiasts. Today, forty years later, AVIA sells sports shoes in all fitness categories such as running, triathlons, and many others.
